Adrian Paul's parents had nothing to do with cinema and creativity. In their family, a commitment to sports reigned, so the boy from childhood was fond of, like his father, rugby, cricket and, especially, football. In his older adolescence, Adrian became interested in fighting sports, as he was faced with the question of the ability to stand up for himself.

But in parallel with sports and contrary to the standards of education, he was drawn to the creative path. He took part in school plays and productions, was actively interested in choreography.

Career: path to fame

The art of dancing attracted Adrian more and more. And even though it was still very far from acting glory, the young man was often invited to appear in advertisements for men's wardrobe. His athletic figure allowed him to become an attractive model, and his knowledge of choreography helped him to stage fashion shows himself.

The modeling business allowed Paul to leave for France. When Adrian moved to Paris, he studied choreography for another three years and also attended a theater studio to study acting.

After he has acquired the necessary skills and a little experience in the film industry, Paul decides to conquer America. He had a firm goal in front of him - to raise the level of his modeling career and simultaneously engage in choreography at a new stage. Film fame was still not part of his plans.

Since his acquaintance has lived in Hollywood for a long time, Adrian Paul decides to go there. After some time, he again studies acting and choreography.

Filming

In 1986, Adrian accidentally meets Lynn Rawlins, who soon becomes his agent. And, although Adrian still does not take a career in cinema seriously, he agrees to the offer to star in the TV series "Dynasty - 2. Colby Family" as a Russian dancer.

After this debut, several more projects followed, popular and not very popular, on television and in films. The most significant work of these years was the role in the television film "The Owl", in which his character's wife and daughter die and he starts a war on crime.

At the beginning of 1992, the actor began filming for the world famous TV series "Highlander". By that time, a film about an immortal Scotsman with Christopher Lambert in the title role had already been rumbled, and an unsuccessful sequel to "Highlander - 2. Revitalization" was also released. At first, the creators of the series "Highlander" planned for Paul the role of Connor Macleod, but Adrian insisted on playing another character. Christopher Lambert appeared in the project as a guest star and a relative of the protagonist.

The show's first season was a huge hit with viewers and critical acclaim. This project became so popular that it was filmed for eight years and six seasons were created. For a long time filming the series, Paul decided to take part in the work also as a director. He himself filmed an episode showing Duncan's return to his homeland. The episode was voted one of the best in the entire series.

Due to the great popularity of this project, there have been several attempts to return the film "Highlander" to the wide screen. In "Highlander - 3" the story was only with the participation of Christopher Lambert, but in the fourth part the authors connected the series and the cinema. Adrian Paul starred in Highlander 4, but the film also flopped at the box office as a result.

After the Highlander project was closed, Adrian continued his film career, but there was no repeated success in other films. The actor is firmly entrenched in the role of an attractive and sexy immortal Scotsman.

Adrian Paul is not only a talented actor, dancer and choreographer, he is also a stuntman, so almost all the stunts in the films are done by him. He also studied various martial arts for more than seven years and took katana lessons.

The actor's excellent muscular physique is the result of a special diet and training, developed personally for himself by Paul himself.

Adrian is fluent in three languages other than English: Italian, French and Cockney - a special dialect of the inhabitants of foggy London.

The actor had a beautiful appearance, amazing charisma and popularity. Such remarkable data allowed him to recklessly flirt with the very first beauties and models. His first seven-year marriage to model Melanie Paul began in 1990 and fell apart due to the fact that there were no children in the family. The spouses were each busy with their careers and charity work and could see each other only once every few months. Of course, such a relationship was doomed, despite the strong feelings of both parties.

The attractive Adrian didn't stay alone for long. Soon enough, he began to meet with Alexandra Tunneli. After a while, the new lover gave birth to two children to Paul.
