John James (full name John James Anderson) is an American theater, film and television actor, producer. He became widely known after playing the role of Jeff Colby in the projects: "Dynasty", "Dynasty: Reunion", "Dynasty 2: Colby Family".
The actor's creative biography includes 40 roles in television and film projects, including participation in the People's Choice Awards and Golden Globe awards. The future actor was born in the United States in the spring of 1956. John is the son of actor, legendary radio host and DJ who worked for WABC-Radio, Herbert Oscar Anderson.
The family brought up two more children: Herb Anderson and Karla Anderson. Herb also later chose a creative profession and became an actor, but did not become widely known.
After completing his primary education in high school in Connecticut, John went to New York and entered the famous American Academy of Dramatic Arts for the performing arts. There he studied acting, music and drama. After graduating from the academy, John began working in television and starring in serials.

John James made his film debut in the mid-1970s. He has appeared in several cameo roles in television soap operas, including the hit series In Search of Tomorrow.
