Biography
Svetlana was born in Moscow in 1979. She grew up as a very energetic child, and her mother decided to occupy her with dancing - so the benefit will be, and the energy will be spent on the right thing.
So from about six to eleven years Svetlana spent in the choreographic ensemble "Buratino". She liked everything very much, she also liked the teacher, but there was one problem - completeness. Stage costumes were not buttoned on Svetlana, and she had to leave the choreography.
But since she was restless as a child, she had to do something. Then her parents took her to the Musical Theater of the Young Actor, where the teachers of GITIS worked with the children. Here Svetlana learned the basics of vocals, acting, stage speech and movement.
All this carried Svetlana into some wonderful cycle of events, persons, situations. It was her element, her love. And it is clear that after school she entered GITIS. Rather, the documents were submitted to several universities, she was also accepted into several, but she chose GITIS.
Career in theater and cinema
After graduation, a wonderful life began: she was accepted into the troupe of the Stanislavsky Theater, and she also hosted the program "Ah, Come on, Girls!" and "440 hertz". There was not enough time for anything, but this is quite in the spirit of Selbet: she does not know how to do nothing, so everything in her life was good.
However, Svetlana's main passion was theater. Here she played a lot of roles in classical and modern plays: "I Came", "Ruslan and Lyudmila", "Oliver", "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and others.
The first series, in which Svetlana played a cameo role, was called "Princess of the Circus". And recognition came to her with the series "Wedding Ring" (2008). It was the role of Angela Basova - flighty, proud and tough.
Since then, cinema and theater have taken a huge place in the life of an actress. In films, she acts more on the sidelines, but her heroines always turn out bright and bring fresh nuances to the plot.
Despite the fact that Svetlana has to wait for an invitation to the cinema, wait for a role in the theater, she does not see an alternative to such a life, because for an actress this is the only way to express herself: through communication with the audience in the theater or through the transmission of her feelings using a camera on the set site.
The best series in the portfolio of the actress are considered "Dog" (2014) and "Give back my love" (2015 …). Since 2019, Selbet has starred in four TV series at once.
Personal life
Svetlana has two children, she is married to Dmitry Goldman. He works as a director and producer, so he is a very busy person. And, despite the fact that the spouses have a very warm relationship and their family is very friendly, Svetlana signs up for a casting for her husband if she wants to star in his film. She talks about it with humor and says that she respects her husband's approach to work.
