After completing her primary education, Ingrid entered the prestigious German College "Goethe", where she studied German, English, French and Latin. During her student years, she began appearing on television, winning a selection to appear in international advertising. More than 300 applicants from several countries took part in the competition.
Shortly before that, the girl starred in a Christmas photo shoot for the teen magazine COOL GIRL. It was there that she was noticed by representatives of the agency and invited to an audition to participate in the filming of commercials. Later, this advertisement was shown in Romania and Israel.
She played her first small role in the Romanian comedy series, where she portrayed the smart and funny teenage girl Flory. Then she appeared in a cameo role in the fantastic film "Bloodrain". After graduating from college, Ingrid continued her studies in Bucharest at Hyperion Acting University, receiving the highest score upon admission. This university is considered one of the most prestigious in Romania, it has several humanitarian and technical faculties. After gaining her first experience on set during her student years, Bisu continued her acting career after graduating from college.
In 2009, Ingrid appeared on the screens in the thriller Slaughterhouse. She got a very small role in the episode.
In the same year, the actress starred in the film of the co-production of Romania and France "Tales of the Golden Age". Then she appeared in the New Year's comedy "Ho-Ho-Ho".
In 2010, Bisu played in several films at once: "Portrait of a Young Warrior", "Eve", "Outskirts", "Woman and Man".
After 2 years, the actress got the main role in the drama "Roxanne". The picture was filmed in Romania and Hungary and told about the events that took place 20 years after the Romanian revolution.
Bisu decided to continue her further film career in the United States. She moved to California and soon landed her first roles in Hollywood films.
