On June 22, 1961, the future film star was born in an artistic family (father and mother were actors of the drama theater) in Penza. At the age of six months, the Rozanov family finally moved to Ryazan, where they had spent a lot of time before. Therefore, Irina Yuryevna considers this city to be her real homeland.
Almost all of Ira's childhood was spent in the theatrical backstage, and therefore her decision to become an actress, despite her mother's persuasions to choose another profession, was formed very clearly. However, unsuccessful tests at the Schepkinsky school upon admission there after graduating from high school somewhat shaken confidence. After all, one of the representatives of the selection committee recommended that the future star just forget about the career of an actress.
And then there was a return to Ryazan, a whole year to prepare for the next attempt to enter a theater university, work in the dressing room of a local theater and, finally, successfully pass exams at GITIS. From the second year of the institute until 1988, she became a member of the troupe of the Mayakovsky Theater. After receiving a higher acting education and until 1998, Irina Rozanova began to appear on the stage of the Theater-Studio "Man". This was followed by seven years at the theater on Malaya Bronnaya, a year at Lenkom, the subsequent entreprise repertoire and, of course, a cinematic career.
Irina Yuryevna Rozanova made her film debut in 1985, when she played a cameo role in the film "My Friend". And a year later she was marked by the main role in the feature film "The Scarlet Stone". However, the real popularity came to the aspiring actress after the release of the sensational film "Intergirl" (1989). From that time on, they began to recognize her on the street and take autographs. It was a triumph!
