Hip-hop is a very popular musical genre in the modern world, which is considered a combination of several elements, and not only songs. These are break dance, graffiti, DJing and ejection. Moreover, over the several decades of its existence, hip-hop has acquired several completely independent directions - pop-rap, hardcore-rap and many others.

Instructions

Step 1

It is believed that hip-hop as a musical direction and subculture originated in 1974 in the North American Bronx, where a large number of African American and Latin American people lived. Moreover, even then it became a kind of combination of the four above-mentioned components. Then Kool Gerk, who came from Jamaica, began to use DJing and MCing and to impose recitative on musical compositions. Then other performers reached out for this discoverer.

Step 2

Then, already in the 80s of the last century, the so-called new school began to develop, when lyrics were superimposed on funky and disco music. This is exactly what the bands Kool Herc and Grandmaster Flash did. Then sampling became a real innovation, and a fundamentally new genre of "new school" appeared, which became especially relevant thanks to LL Cool J.

Step 3

The real golden age of hip-hop is called the period from 86th to 93rd years, when, in addition to Afrocentrism, performers moved to political activity criticizing the existing state system and social norms. Then jazz and even rock joined the musical direction, which put hip-hop at one of the first places in the musical mainstream. The baton was picked up by the Juice Crew and Boogie Down Productions.

Step 4

It was in the early 90s of the last century that the so-called gold albums Enter the Wu-Tang (performer 36 Chambers) Illmatic (rapper named Nas), Buhloone Mindstate (De La Soul group), Doggystyle (the famous veteran Snoop Dogg), Me Against the World (original singer named 2Pac), Midnight Marauders (rap group A Tribe Called Quest) and Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (black singer OutKast).

Step 5

It was this combination of the seemingly incomprehensible, combined with a move in the literal sense of the word from the lower classes that made hip-hop very popular in the United States, and by the mid-90s this direction of music had penetrated into early Russia. At first, even the "Alisovsky" Kinchev and Sergey Minaev used its elements, which were then replaced by "pure" rappers - Bogdan Titomir, Legalize, the Malchishnik group and many others. After, already at the beginning of the 20th century, "Casta", "Ellipsis", "Basta" and many other groups entered the musical horizon. Currently, the hip-hop genre does not leave the category of relevant music, constantly replenishing with new and new performers who add their own, already Russian notes to its music.
