Starting conditions

This work requires physical and psychological preparation from a person. Gleb Leonidovich Bobrov was brought up in harsh conditions. The future journalist and writer was born on September 16, 1964 in a family of school teachers. Parents lived in the famous town of Krasny Luch, which is located in the Luhansk region. My father worked as a school director. Mother taught literature. Gleb grew up as a calm and reasonable child. From an early age, he showed versatile abilities. By the age of five, he independently learned the letters and began to read the books that he found in the house. Having received his secondary education, he decided not to continue his studies at the institute, but waited for the draft in the army.
Creative activity
It fell to serve Bobrov in Afghanistan. In the training unit, he acquired the military registration specialty "sniper". Participation in hostilities allowed the young fighter to see the fast-flowing life from different angles. He began to write down his impressions and reflections in an ordinary notebook. Before demobilization, the Afghan government awarded sniper Bobrov with the Medal of Courage. Returning to his homeland, Gleb adapted to a peaceful life in a short period. For some time he taught basic military training at school. He worked as a graphic designer at the local palace of culture.
Bobrov's first publications appeared in 1992 on the pages of the city newspaper. At the first stage, recollections of military service formed the basis of the creative work of the novice writer. Short stories and short stories were published in the magazines "Rise" and "Zvezda". When the political situation in Ukraine began to heat up, Gleb began to post his topical materials on the pages of various newspapers. As early as 2002, the target audience recognized him as a political reporter. In 2008, the book "The Age of the Stillborn" was published, which Bobrov wrote under the impression of what was happening in the country.
Recognition and privacy
Gleb Bobrov's writing career was developing successfully. His books "The Soldier's Saga", "The Sniper in Afghanistan", "Luhansk Direction" were favorably received by the readers. When the confrontation began in Donbass in 2014, the writer unambiguously sided with the militias.
Bobrov's personal life turned out well. He has been legally married for a long time. The husband and wife raised two children. At the moment, the Bobrov family lives in Lugansk.
