According to some skeptics, high poetry is not in demand today. After a while, it will generally turn into a fossil. Alexander Vulykh completely disagrees with such messages, who proves the opposite with his work.
Son of an architect
Once a famous Soviet poet remarked that being famous was ugly. After a long period of time, Alexander Efimovich Vulykh added - but it was pleasant and profitable. A well-known poet and screenwriter has the right to engage in polemics with the classics. Often the author is pushed to this by current events. In this context, it should be noted that the target audience perceives him as both a parodist and a songwriter. As Vulykh himself puts it, this is such a compote in one saucepan. This state did not develop overnight. There were reasons and motives for that.
The popular columnist poet was born on February 5, 1956 in an intelligent Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. By that time, my father was a famous architect. Mother worked under his leadership. The child grew and developed in a creative environment. Vulykh studied well at school. His favorite subjects were history and literature. The people around him, relatives and acquaintances, had no doubt that Sasha would follow in the footsteps of his famous father. However, it was precisely this circumstance that began to bother him with age. He was not at all satisfied with the role of the "pale shadow of the ancestor."
Creative activity
After school, Vulykh flatly refused to receive an education as an architect and entered the journalism department of Moscow State University. As a student, Alexander wrote poetry and notes for various publications. He watched with his own eyes how correspondents and TV presenters live. The young and talented author was accepted into the editorial office of the Nochnoye Rendezvous newspaper as the editor of the letters department. In this position, he led his editorial column in verse. In his opinion, it was not yet poetry, but it was no longer journalism. Vulykh began writing tests for songs seriously in the early 90s.
Poetic creativity was noticed, appreciated, and the author was invited to lead the column "Verse of the Day from Alexander Vulykh" on "Russian Radio". Every day, at exactly 11 o'clock, poetic lines on a topical topic sounded on the air. At the same time, Alexander managed to organize his own solo performances. In tandem with the composer Vadim Stepantsov, they regularly performed at evenings at the Mayakovsky Museum.
Projects and personal life
In the early 2000s, Vulykh enthusiastically created scripts for various events and performances. A script for the "Morning Mail" program was written for the first TV channel. Musical "12 chairs" for the Moscow Youth House. As the author of the lyrics to the song “Missing in action”, he was awarded the Grand Prix of the 2010 television competition “Spring of Victory”.
Little is known about the personal life of the poet and screenwriter. Several times Alexander tried to start a family. But husband and wife quickly tired each other.
