Tanya Raymond was born in 1988 in Los Angeles into a mixed French-Jewish family, her birth name is Helen Katz. Mom taught her French since childhood, Tanya graduated from the French Lyceum and therefore speaks this language perfectly.
A beautiful girl early began to dream of a career as an actress, and one day her mother took her to the casting of the television project "Providence", where Tanya was unexpectedly taken. It was a family drama where she played the role of her own age. After this work, she was invited to other serials, and she played cameo roles. A year after Providence, she was given a more significant role in the situational comedy Malcolm in the Spotlight, and worked there for quite some time.

Gradually, the young actress gained skill and earned a reputation among directors. so on the O'Keeffe series she was given the lead role, which she did well.
