Model Behati Prinsloo is originally from Namibia, although not African. She was brought here by her parents, passionate about the idea of charity and the education of the people of Namibia. Father Behati is a preacher. He serves in the church, is engaged in missionary work. And my mother devoted herself entirely to charity.
Biography
Behati Prinsloo was born in Grootfontein in 1989. Since childhood, she helped her parents in their cares, however, she was distinguished by an independent character and great mobility. At home they called her a "tomboy." She did not really listen to adults and believed that if her father worked in the church, then she could do whatever she wanted in it. And she always resisted if she was forced to be quiet.
At school, Behati studied both the local language and English, did well in all subjects, but sports attracted her most. She tried herself in rhythmic gymnastics, athletics and even field hockey. She did not become a professional athlete, but even then the foundation was laid for the modeling business, where the figure remains the main trump card. Sports helped to improve the natural data of the girl.
Model career
Prinsloo got into the modeling business by a fluke: when she went to Cape Town, Sarah Dunkas, a representative of a modeling agency, saw her on the street. It was through her efforts that the famous Kate Moss appeared on the podium at one time. Such a professional could not fail to notice the data of a young girl, and she persuaded Behati to test shooting.
The girl was afraid that her father, with his views, would not accept this idea, so she did not immediately agree. However, he treated this information with understanding. As Behati later found out, he perfectly understood that his lifestyle would not allow him to show his daughter the world, and with the profession of a model, she would be able to travel around many countries herself.
So at the age of 15, Behati hit the podium: she signed a contract and very soon was in London on the set. Today Prinsloo is the official face of the Seafolly swimwear brand.
During her eventful life, Behati has advertised products of the most famous brands in the world, including Lacoste, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and others.
One of the wonderful pages of her professional biography was her collaboration with the Victoria's Secret brand, where models are called "angels." Since 2009, Behati has signed a personal contract with this brand, and in 2015 she opened a show of exclusive lingerie models.
Since 2009, Prinsloo has been in the top 100 models of the world, improving its position every year and climbing higher and higher in the ranking.
Personal life
Behati's first love found her at the age of 16 - she began dating Jamie Strachan, a model from England. For seven whole years they were together, but then broke up.
Later, Behati met Adam Levin, the lead singer of the American band "Maroon 5". They quarreled and parted, but got married in 2014, and are still together.
The couple had two daughters, and both stellar parents say they don't mind if they have many children.
Behati and Adam live with their children in their home in Los Angeles.
