Michael Scott (Michael Peter Scott) was born on September 28, 1959 in Dublin, Ireland. At the school where the future writer studied, much attention was paid to Gaelic football. Michael Scott switched to martial arts. He practiced karate, taekwondo, judo and even a little kung fu. Over time, it became difficult to combine training and literary work. His father instilled in Michael Scott his love for books from an early age. They visited the bookstore every Saturday morning.
