On the thorny path of creativity

In his free time, in the evenings, my father read aloud different books. This is how Alexander got acquainted with the work of Russian poets and writers. And not only met, but also felt an inner need to write poetry. He composed his first work at the age when he could not read. During his school years, he became addicted to writing already consciously. True, the literature teacher gave a negative review of the "verses", which he glimpsed. This incident did not affect Tvardovsky's desire to work with the word.

When Alexander was 14 years old, he joined the Komsomol and began writing notes for the regional newspaper. In his letters, he raised important topics for the village.
