Namaz for Muslims is not just a daily prayer, it is a whole ritual performed in the name of glorifying Allah. If you want to get closer to the worldview of Muslims, then you should start with an understanding of the essence of this rite, and maybe even learn it.
Instructions
Step 1
To perform namaz correctly, observe the following sequence of actions: cleansing the body, clothes and places of prayer, covering the awrah - parts of the body that should not be seen by strangers, determining the direction in which prayer is taken (Kaaba is a sacred building in Mecca, which is Qibla for Muslims), determining the time of the ceremony (prayer performed at an inopportune time remains as a duty - kada).
It is not so much the ritual as the presence of intention that is important; a person should want to make a prayer with his heart and say out loud about his intention.
Step 2
Namaz consists of certain cycles - rak'ahs, which include obligatory ruknah (actions during prayer).
Stand facing Mecca (can be determined by the compass), legs slightly apart. Looking at the place of prostration - sujud, indicate your intention to perform namaz and say the words exalting Allah. At the same time, raise both hands with open palms and closed fingers to the level of the ears (men), with open palms and closed fingers to the level of the chest (women).
Step 3
Place your right palm over your left and place your hands just below the navel (men), at chest level (women). Read, standing, without lowering your hands, the prescribed prayers, suras.
Step 4
Make a hand - a bow with the words "Allahu Akbar". Men bend with a straight back forward at an angle of 90º and place their hands, fingers apart, on their knees. Women bend forward with bent knees and backs, put their hands on their knees with closed fingers. Read the prescribed prayer without straightening. Straighten up with the words "Allahu Akbar".
Step 5
Next, bow down to the ground - sajdah. Say the words "Allahu Akbar", touch the floor with your knees, then hands, forehead and nose. The head should be between the hands, the eyes are open, and the legs are on the ground. Read the prescribed prayer. Say "Allahu Akbar" again and lift your forehead off the ground. Sit on the left heel, (the right leg remains bent (women fold their legs under themselves and sit on the ground) fold your hands on your knees, say the words “Subhan Allah.” Then, with the words “Allah Akbar”, perform another sajda - bow to the ground.
Step 6
With the words "Allahu Akbar", stand up, lifting your head off the ground, hands, put your hands on your hips and lift your knees off the ground. The first rak'ah is over.
Step 7
Repeat the rak'ah the prescribed number of times. Finish the last rak'ah by sitting and do "Salam": turn your head to the right, eyes should look at the shoulders, say "As-salamu 'alaykum wa Rahmatul-lah", do the same to the left.
