What is important to prayer

You also need to learn to pray: first, a person memorizes prayers and repeats them mechanically, then he begins to understand their meaning and turns to the Higher Forces already consciously. And then he begins to pray in his own words, from the heart.
After all, the texts of the prayers were written by people, and they put their aspirations into them, and we can put ours in - to pray in our own words. The impulse is important, not the signs in which this impulse is embedded.
Let us recall another historical example: the battle of Alexander Nevsky on Lake Peipsi. On the night before the battle, Alexander came to the church to pray, but the prayer did not work - no words came. Then he turned to God: "Father!" And in his own words he said that the enemy had much more strength than he had, and that he was asking for either victory or imminent death - just not a shame.
And in the morning Alexander's soldiers completely defeated the enemy. At the same time, such miracles occurred that people could not explain. Help came to the Russian warriors from above, through the prayer of Alexander, and with a small number they defeated the enemy. This is how faith and sincerity help.
