On May 6, 1965, the future artist was born into a family of physicists in the city on the Neva. Despite the desire of his parents to see the future nuclear physicist in his son, Igor from his youth showed a craving for the world of acting, although he hid it from his household. So, for example, he did not tell them that he appeared on the stage of the Theater of Youth Creativity in his school years.
After receiving a certificate of secondary education, at the insistence of his parents, he still graduated from the Polytechnic Institute, although after the third year he tried to enter LGITMiK, but due to the lack of the necessary documents in the selection committee, he could not pass the general education exams. However, the career of a nuclear physicist was interrupted in 1989, when he nevertheless came to Moscow and entered the legendary GITIS. Here he gained professional skills from the professor of directing Irina Sudakova.
Igor Gordin received his first theatrical experience while still a student on the stage of the Youth Theater under the leadership of Kama Ginkas and Henrietta Yanovskaya. And in 1993 he spent one theatrical season with the troupe of the Sovremennik Theater, after which he returned to the stage of the Youth Theater. Since 1994, his professional portfolio has been regularly replenished with theatrical projects, among which I would especially like to highlight the performances: "Romantics", "Execution of the Decembrists", "Foam of Days", "Pushkin. Igor Gordin made his debut in cinema in 2002 with the action movie "Trio" by Alexander Proshkin. And two years later, in the film Children of the Arbat, he loudly announced himself to the entire cinematic community.
