Biography and career of Mikhail Andreevich Gluzsky
On November 21, 1918, in the capital of Ukraine, the future artist was born into the family of an honored revolutionary. At the age of four, the family moved to Moscow due to the death of their father. And then there was Baku because of the mother's remarriage and the return to the capital of our Motherland at the age of eleven. Mikhail grew up as a mischievous boy who even got registered with the police. However, after an amateur group began to work in their house, he immediately fired up to become an artist.
After graduating from secondary school, Gluzsky tried unsuccessfully to enter the theater schools in Moscow, studied at an evening school and got a job as an electrician. And in 1936, luck smiled, and the purposeful young man was admitted to the acting studio at Mosfilm. He graduated from it in 1940 and was immediately drafted into military service, from where he left for the war.
Since 1946, Mikhail Andreevich for forty years was a member of the troupe of the Theater-Studio of Film Actor, on the stage of which he shone in many theatrical projects. At this time, theatergoers most liked the performances with his participation "Old Friends", "Dowry", "Ivan Vasilievich" and many others. Sometimes he was invited to the Ermolova Theater and Sovremennik. And from 1995 until his death, the popular actor appeared on the stage of the School of Contemporary Play.
Mikhail Gluzsky made his cinematic debut in 1939 with cameo roles in the films A Girl with a Character and Minin and Pozharsky. And the next year he was already admitted to the staff of "Mosfilm". After the release of the legendary motion picture "Quiet Don" (1957-1958), the aspiring actor became truly famous throughout the country. During his lifetime, his filmography managed to be filled with almost one hundred and fifty films, many of which are today deservedly included in the Golden Fund of Russian cinema.

Mikhail Gluzsky's only marriage with Ekaterina Peregudova lasted almost half a century. In this happy and strong family union, a son Andrei and a daughter Maria were born.
For Catherine, marriage with Mikhail was already the second. It was because of his persistent courtship that she left her ex-husband and never regretted it later.
