Poetic gift is not only and not so much the ability to rhyme words. The poet differs from other citizens in his ability to penetrate into the essence of things and processes. And not just to see through and through, but to anticipate and warn. All progress is reactionary if a person collapses - these are the words of the great Russian poet Andrei Andreevich Voznesensky. The words were spoken in the middle of the 20th century. Today, in an era of great consumption, such maxims fall out of the mainstream.

Student of the Architectural Institute

It often happens that in early childhood a person is given a vector that points him in a direction in life. Andrei Andreevich Voznesensky was born in the capital of the Soviet Union on May 12, 1933. The child grew up and was brought up in the family of an engineer who was engaged in the construction of hydraulic structures. Mother comes from near Vladimir. In her homeland, in a village with the colorful name Kirzhach, the boy visited every summer. When the war began, Andrey and his mother were evacuated to the city of Kurgan. Already a well-known and recognized poet, Voznesensky pointed out these facts in his biography.

After the Victory, returning to Moscow, the teenager, in addition to studying at school, did not abandon his hobbies for poetry and drawing. Literary life was "seething" in the capital. Andrei followed with interest the new publications in the press and, naturally, wrote down his own lines in an ordinary notebook. He decided to send a simple student's notebook with his poems to Boris Pasternak for review. Boris Leonidovich liked the young man's samples, and a friendship struck up between them. The famous poet knew well how the literary community lived, and dissuaded the young man from entering the Literary Institute.

After graduating from school, Voznesensky, listening to the advice of a senior fellow in the shop, decided to get a serious education and entered the Architectural Institute. The career of an architect did not appeal to him, but studying at a technical university broadens his horizons, structures the intellect and develops memory. Andrey successfully combines education with creativity. The now forgotten poetry evenings at the Polytechnic Museum take up a lot of energy and at the same time motivate people to work more productively. In 1958, a year after graduation, the first publications of the poet appeared on the pages of newspapers and magazines.

Breaking stereotypes

Communicating with Boris Pasternak, the young poet understood one important idea for him - one should not imitate even the most respected and beloved idols. To gain recognition from readers, you need to create your own style. In 1960, the first collection of poems by Andrei Voznesensky, entitled "Mosaic", was published. Both readers and critics were sharply divided into two camps. Some admired the novelty and freshness of the poet's views. Others showed complete rejection. It is interesting to note that in many of the poet's works one can feel his belonging, his involvement in science and technology. Towards progress.

It must be said about the serious conflict between the poet and representatives of the ruling party. During that period, Voznesensky was threatened with real reprisals. But the conflict did not continue, since cardinal changes took place in the CPSU Central Committee. Andrei Andreevich cooperates with great desire with composers and theatrical authorities. This work brings not only pleasure, but also popularity. The cult theater "Lenkom" staged the rock opera "Juno and Avos". The libretto is based on the poet's verses.

Personal life does not distract Voznesensky and does not lead him off the chosen course. After a short stay with the poetess Bala Akhmadulina, he meets his true muse. This is Zoya Boguslavskaya. She writes plays, stories, stories. Acts as a literary critic. For more than forty-five years, husband and wife have lived under the same roof. Love, parting, meeting - all this happened. The poet died in 2010 after a serious illness.
