Biography
Sasha's parents were very young students of the Leningrad Medical Institute, Yakov and Sophia, whose child appeared quite unexpectedly a year before graduation - on the 13th of the first month of the fall of 1951. After finishing their studies, the parents, now young doctors, moved to Kazakhstan together to devote their lives to helping people. Sasha's younger brother, Vladimir, was also born there. And soon the family moved back to St. Petersburg.
From the age of five, Alexander, who had a good ear and a sense of rhythm, studied at a music school, mastering the violin and piano and on his own - the guitar. I entered the evening music school in the class of arrangement. In addition to music, he was actively involved in sports - first figure skating, and then boxing. The institute chose a medical institute, following the example of parents, and in 1974 received a diploma. It was as a student that he began to actively write songs.
Career
In 1980, Alexander Yakovlevich Rosenbaum finally abandons medicine and leaves for the professional scene. For three years he took part in concerts of various VIAs and ensembles, and in 1983 he began a solo career, and actively performed in front of soldiers in Afghanistan.
The early songs of the famous bard belong to the chanson genre. He liked the image of the "raider" of the NEP times from Babel's "Odessa stories". At the same time, Cossack and Gypsy romances of the early 20th century began to appear in the musician's repertoire, and then real philosophical lyrics, displacing the mischievous "thieves" songs.
There are many “courageous” songs in the bard's asset: about soldiers, hunters. The main hit of the 80s was "Waltz Boston", which sounded from every receiver or tape recorder. Every year Alexander is awarded the Chanson of the Year award, his songs are featured in popular films and TV series, and soon he himself begins to appear on the screen.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, oriental and Israeli motives began to appear in the bard's work. In 2003, he became a State Duma deputy from United Russia for two years, but then resigned and took up business and social activities, without stopping music.
Personal life
For the first time, Alexander married, like his parents, while still a student. The family lasted exactly nine months and successfully disintegrated. Rosenbaum does not like to talk about this period of his life. He proudly introduces to the public his second wife, also a fellow student, Elena Savshinskaya, who gave birth to his daughter Anna. Anna married an Israeli Tiberio, with whom Alexander owns a chain of pubs "Fat Fraer" and gave her famous grandfather four grandchildren.
