Sometimes, in order to teach something to another person, there is not enough patience or time. In this case, you can use a wonderful and simple solution: write an instruction. An instruction is an extended algorithm of sequential actions that will lead to the indicated result.
Instructions
Step 1
Mentally reproduce the entire procedure for writing instructions. Remember both the most important steps and, at first glance, meaningless details. Remember that if a step or skill may be clear and obvious to you, it may require additional clarification for someone else.
Step 2
Break this process down into major logical steps. If the instruction is complicated, then break each step further into smaller steps. Thus, the result of performing steps within one stage will be some intermediate result, with which you can proceed to the next logical stage.
Step 3
Write down the resulting outline of the instructions for a draft. Check to see if there are any missing steps. Look at the instructions from the point of view of a person who does not understand the process described. Could you, in its place, perform the required actions, relying only on the steps of the instruction? If so, you can proceed with a more detailed description of each step. If not, add the missing elements.
Step 4
For clarity and better assimilation of the material, it makes sense to add illustrations describing specific steps. It is also beneficial to use illustrations in cases where it is difficult to describe the necessary actions in words, it is much easier to clearly show what should turn out. For this, use both schematic drawings and photographs, which can be freely found in free photo banks.
