The professional activities of the journalist and presenter Sergei Dorenko have long been accompanied by scandals, revelations, and legal proceedings. In strict accordance with his image, in 2013 he made public the details of the divorce from his first wife, with whom he had been married for 30 years. Also, Dorenko did not hide that the reason for the separation was his new lover, who gave the journalist two daughters.
Way to success
Sergei Leonidovich Dorenko was born on October 18, 1959 on the sunny peninsula of Crimea. His father was a military pilot, rose to the rank of major general, and his mother worked as a librarian. The family often moved on duty of Dorenko Sr. Therefore, the future journalist in childhood changed many schools. Even then, he did not differ in exemplary behavior and, despite good grades, was known as a bully and a fighter.
Sergei Leonidovich graduated from the senior classes in Volgograd, and was awarded a gold medal for his academic success. It is not surprising that he wanted to receive higher education in the capital. As a result, he chose the Faculty of History and Philology of the Peoples' Friendship University, which he graduated in 1982. For six years of study, the talented student mastered three specialties at once: a translator from Spanish and Portuguese, as well as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language.
Dorenko began his career with business trips to the countries of Latin America and Africa. In 1982-1984 he lived permanently in Angola, working as a translator in several departments. He did not go on a long trip alone. During his studies, Sergei Leonidovich met his future wife - Marina Arkadyevna Fedorenkova. She studied a year younger. The lovers did not wait for their diplomas and on March 1, 1980 they legalized their relationship.
In Africa, Dorenko suffered from malaria twice, which is why, upon returning to his homeland, he served in an abbreviated version of military service. After the army, he never returned to work in his specialty. On the first day of April 1985, I got a job at the State Television and Radio in the External Relations Service. By that time, pleasant changes had come in Dorenko's family life. In May 1984 his daughter Ekaterina was born, and in November 1985 her younger sister Ksenia was born.
The first fame came to the aspiring journalist in 1990, when he covered the events in the Lithuanian SSR related to the republic's proclamation of independence within the framework of the Vremya program. Then, in just five years, Dorenko managed to work on the channels of VGTRK, TV-6 Moscow, Ostankino Channel 1, NTV, ORT, RTR. In October 1996, the journalist began to run the weekly Vremya program, from which he was subsequently removed and returned again in 1999.
The pinnacle of Sergei Leonidovich's television career can be considered the appointment in November 1999 as Deputy Director General of ORT. True, he worked in this position for a little over a year. In the late 90s, another joyful event took place in the life of the TV presenter: his long-awaited son Prokhor was born.
Retirement from television and new love
Viewers of the early 2000s will probably remember Sergei Dorenko's "Author's Program", in which he mercilessly criticized the politicians Yuri Luzhkov and Yevgeny Primakov. And soon after several scandalous remarks about President Putin, the journalist was removed from the air. He continued his further career on radio. In 2004-2008 he collaborated with the radio station "Echo of Moscow", then moved to the "Russian news service".
At the new place of work, Dorenko led the morning program "Rise". Since he needed a co-host on the air, the journalist himself decided to arrange a casting to find a suitable candidate. So he met the young beauty Yulia Silyavina, who later became his second wife.
Julia was born in 1984 in the small village of Sedelnikovo, Omsk Region. After school, she went to study to be a translator, but two years later she dropped out of the institute. The girl realized that she was more interested in journalism and submitted documents to a well-known metropolitan university. Unfortunately, the admission attempt was unsuccessful.
Silyavina began her professional career in her homeland, having worked for a year on local television. Then she gained experience on the "People's Radio", until I saw the announcement of the casting for the "Russian News Service". As Dorenko himself admitted, at first Yulia conquered him with a beautiful and strong voice. When she talked about something on the air, the famous journalist listened to her, as if spellbound. Silyavina, in turn, admired the intelligence and professionalism of Sergei Leonidovich and was delighted with the opportunity to learn from the real master of television and radio broadcasting.
Scandalous divorce and second marriage
The fact that the relationship between the boss and the subordinate went beyond the framework of the workers, their colleagues guessed very quickly. Another proof of this was Julia's pregnancy. True, Sergei Dorenko was in no hurry to tell publicly what was happening in his private life. Officially, he remained married to his first wife until 2013. Since the journalist actively uses the Internet and social networks, he announced the changes on the love front on his personal Facebook page.
In the fall of 2012, Dorenko announced that he was getting divorced. Moreover, according to him, this marriage has existed in recent years only on paper. He left his wife in January 2010 and since then managed to start a family with Yulia Silyavina, who gave him two wonderful daughters: Varvara in 2010 and Vera in 2011. The journalist did not file for divorce for a long time, because he waited for the passions to subside, and hoped for a peaceful parting. However, the situation did not change from year to year, and he decided to act.
The ex-wife, in fact, during the divorce proceedings tried in every possible way to drag it out, challenging the court's decision. However, her claims were not taken into account, and Dorenko was freed in June 2013. However, with Marina Arkadyevna, they had to later resolve issues on the division of property. Although the TV presenter in all interviews emphasized that he left his wife almost empty-handed. He left her 2 apartments in Moscow, 4 apartments in Minsk, 2 houses in elite villages near Moscow. Dorenko's son Prokhor never stopped supporting financially. He calmly took the news of the parents' divorce, but the older daughters broke off communication with their father. However, the journalist does not lose hope for the restoration of relations.
Having barely received a divorce, on August 10, 2013, Sergei Leonidovich again went to the registry office. She and Yulia Silyavina signed without witnesses, and on August 30 they organized a small party in a restaurant, inviting their closest friends. After the wedding, the young wife officially took the name of the famous husband. Since then, in the personal life of Sergei Dorenko, peace and quiet have again come. He is happy with his new wife, raises daughters, and continues to demonstrate his explosive temperament only in journalistic activities.
