Biography
The singer was born on April 13, 1947, in a family of musicians.
Irina's father was a famous musician, played the piano and accordion, worked as an accompanist for Lyudmila Zykina. Irina graduated from a music school, piano. Having matured, she studied at the music faculty of the Pedagogical Institute. She worked as an accompanist at Mosconcert. Later she became a soloist in the famous VIA "Blue Guitars".
Subsequently, she began to perform independently - as a pop singer. She began to perform songs by Roman Mayorov, Vyacheslav Dobrynin, David Tukhmanov, Sergei Berezin, Albert Arutyunov and other composers. Irina gained fame thanks to the duet with Nikolai Karachentsev, with the song "What to give you?"
In the 1990s, Irina Uvarova had to stop her concert activities and leave the stage.
