The love for the game has long spread beyond the borders of Spain. At the beginning of the 20th century, the guitar was used among poets and writers to perform poems; in the middle of the 20th century, rock came into fashion - and again the guitar. Since then, the guitar has gained even more popularity. Today, the desire to learn how to play the guitar is very easy to enact. The main thing is patience and having at least 1 hour a day of free time that could be devoted to the game.

Instructions

Step 1

Master the structure of the guitar. When starting to play any instrument, it is necessary to have at least a minimal understanding of the main features of its structure and functioning. This knowledge can be useful both when choosing a tool and when using it. In a classical guitar, the main components are the body, neck, and strings. In the structure of the guitar body, 4 surfaces can be distinguished: front, back and 2 side surfaces. The front and back surfaces in professional language are called the top and bottom decks, and the side surfaces are the shells.

Step 2

When choosing a guitar, pay special attention to the material from which it is made, since in many ways this is what determines the sound of the instrument. There are guitars with plywood deck, bottom and sides. This type of tool is notable for its low price, but, unfortunately, it is far from the best quality and is more suitable for the initial stages of training. Partly plywood guitars belong to the next type. In this case, the deck is made of solid spruce or cedar, and the bottom and sides are plywood. This option represents an excellent combination of price and quality, since the solid deck allows you to achieve very high sound performance. Guitars made entirely of solid wood can be classified as the third type of guitar. Their quality depends on the type of wood and the class of the guitar master, but in any case, it is with such an instrument that professional classical guitar playing begins.

Step 3

When the difficult task of choosing a guitar is solved, the instrument itself is tuned and, it would seem, all the necessary conditions are taken into account, proceed directly to the game itself. But there is no need to rush here, since even the smallest moments in the future can affect the success in training. Before you start learning chords, you need to figure out how to hold the guitar correctly. The beauty of the instrument's sound depends to a large extent on the correct seating and hand position of the guitarist. There is a so-called classic fit, in which the body of the guitar rests on the performer's left foot and rests on the right foot. When playing, the guitar is held only by the right hand, and the left is involved exclusively in working with the strings.

Step 4

Take up the theoretical part of the training. There are a large number of publications devoted to self-study of the guitar. Such a wide selection allows everyone to choose the option most suitable for him. You can also find a lot of training videos on the Internet. If you are not sure that you will be able to master this instrument on your own, then you can turn to the appropriate schools or communities for help, where basic guitar courses are provided. But regardless of the chosen method of training, the most important factor for success is desire and great patience. Daily lessons, perseverance and dedication are the keys to future success.
