The author of the immortal and relevant even today hit "I will never marry you", Arkady Ukupnik, currently lives in Moscow and actively writes music for various films.
Childhood and youth
Arkady Semyonovich Ukupnik was born on February 18, 1953 in the small Ukrainian town of Kamenets-Podolsky. The boy was not the only child in the family, he has a younger sister, Margarita. We can say that his parents are representatives of the intelligentsia. They devoted their entire lives to teaching. Arkady's father was a mathematics teacher, and his mother was a literature teacher.
This is probably why Arkady was very obedient and kind from childhood. Love for music began to manifest itself in early childhood. And the parents sent the young talent to a music school, where little Arkasha began to master the violin. At a more conscious age, the guy independently learned to play the bass guitar.
At the age of 18, the young man leaves for Moscow for higher education. There he became a student at the Bauman Technical School (now the Bauman Moscow State Technical University), which he successfully graduated after 6 years.
Career
Despite the fact that the specialty mastered at the university was not conducive to creativity, the young man never for a second doubted that he would become a famous singer.
During his student days, he was a member of several musical groups at once, among the leaders of which were the famous Yuri Antonov and Leonid Utyosov. Acquaintance with Soviet pop stars and frequent performances made Arkady Ukupnik quite popular by the end of his studies at the university.
In the early 80s, Ukupnik created his own music studio "Gala", where he worked as a sound engineer and director at the same time. Subsequently, Alla Borisovna Pugacheva notices him and offers cooperation, which resulted in several years of fruitful activity.
For a long time, Arkady has been writing songs for other artists, including Irina Ponarovskaya, Kristina Orbakaite, Mikhail Krug, Alyona Apina, Vladimir Presnyakov, Vlad Stashevsky, Larisa Dolina and many, many others.
However, with the arrival of the 90s, he decides to start his solo career. In 1993 he finished work on his debut album and released it under the title "The East is a delicate matter, Petruha." Thanks to this disc, the career of an experienced musician rushed upward.
The artist's discography includes 9 studio albums, the last of which was released in 2006. After the release of the last album, Arkady Semyonovich decides to start writing music again not for himself. He began to create music for films. The musician's creativity can be appreciated in such films as "Bastards", "Black Lightning", "Love-Carrot" (all 3 films), "Indigo", "Kiss Through the Wall" and many others.
Personal life
In the late 70s, Arkady married a girl named Lilia. During their life together, the couple had a son, Grisha, who today lives in Germany with his mother.
The musician's second wife was Marina Nikitina, whom Ukupnik met by chance, taking her home. Later, the wife gave birth to her husband's daughter Yunnu. But despite this, the couple broke up.
Having married for the third time, the artist and his beloved are trying to keep the family together. In 2011, Natalia and Arkady had a daughter, Sofia.
