For all its superficial similarities, boxing is not a fight. A duel between two athletes in the ring is governed by strict rules. These rules have evolved over many decades. Oleg Maskaev is fluent in fighting technique and never violates the rules.
Starting conditions
The famous professional boxer Oleg Aleksandrovich Maskaev was born on March 2, 1969. The family at that time lived in a small working village in the Karaganda region. My father worked in the mine. Mother took care of the house and the household plot. The child grew up and developed in harsh conditions. From an early age he and his older brother were taught to work and take responsibility for their actions. Communication with peers on the street and at school, as a rule, took place in a conflict form.

It was common for local hooligans to offend and take away a valuable thing from a weak person. In order to develop physically, the future champion did all the hard work in his own courtyard. And when he "left for years", he began to work out in the gym. It is interesting to note that at first, Maskaev was not interested in boxing - he knew how to stand up for himself without it. In the amateur ring
Systematic boxing began at a time when Maskaev was educated at a mining college. In the mid-80s, young people from all over the country were involved in sports. Boxing tournaments were held at the level of settlements, regions, territories and republics. For the most part, athletes worked in production, and trained in the evenings and weekends. Thanks to his physical abilities, observation, excellent reaction, Oleg quickly moved to the front ranks of boxers at the local level.
Upon reaching the draft age, Maskaev was sent to serve in a sports unit. In the army, competitions were held regularly. Athletes trained according to scientifically developed methods. An integrated approach allowed Oleg to gain the necessary experience and work out important technical elements of the battle. In 1990, he won the championship of the armies that were united by the Warsaw Pact. A year later, in the semifinals of the armed forces of the Soviet Union, he defeated a boxer named Viktor Klitschko.
Professional tournaments
Returning to civilian life, Oleg did not even think about a professional career in the ring. However, at home, the situation was unbearable. It was at this moment that Maskaev was "found" by the managers of the World Boxing Council. After short negotiations, he agreed to try his hand at being a professional. Oleg won the first fight in April 1993. In this context, it should be clarified that a large team is working to win a boxer. When preparing for the next fight, amateur performances or "creativity" are not allowed.
The biography of the Russian boxer shows the results of all fights. Maskaev, as a professional, had 46 fights and won 39 victories. The result is more than decent. The personal life of Oleg Alexandrovich was no less successful. Husband and wife have been living under the same roof for many, many years. The couple raised and raised four daughters.
