Family, early years

Sergey Sivokho was born on February 8, 1969, his homeland is Donetsk. Sergei's father worked at the Research Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy. As a child, the boy was fond of history, science fiction, graduated from the music school, where he mastered the button accordion.

As a teenager, Sivokho mastered the profession of "driver-auto mechanic", and also studied with a master wood prosthetist. Later he served in the army, where Sergei received the specialty of an operator of lifting gantry devices.

Sivokho studied at the Polytechnic Institute, becoming a metallurgical engineer. He also has a second higher education - the specialty of an economist-legal consultant. Sergei lived in Donetsk, and later in Kiev.

KVN, creative career

During his studies at the Polytechnic Institute, Sergei became a member of the KVN team, becoming a leader. The DPI national team was created in 1989, two times the guys reached the final. Sivokho mainly participated in musical numbers.

Thanks to KVN, Sivokho gained fame in the USSR, became recognizable. It was Sergey who first performed at one of the games with a musical parody. In 1990 he received the title of the best showman "Ostankino".

In 1993 a team appeared, which was named "Dream-Team". It included guys from DPI and UPI, they took part in 4 games. Sergey also played in the CIS national team, was the curator of the KVN Inter League.

Sergey was invited to shoot films (Captain Crocus, Imitator, Bogdan - Zinoviy Khmelnitsky, etc.), his filmography includes 13 films. Sivokho played several roles in the humorous television project "33 square meters", participated in the dubbing of the film "Nikita Kozhemyak", where he voiced the dragon.

Sergey was also a presenter on Mega-Radio, then became a co-owner of the company. He hosted television programs ("How to Become a Star!", "Weevil Show", "Once a Week", "BIS", "Drums of Destiny", etc.).

Sivokho was a member of the jury in the "League of Laughter" show. Since 2011, he has been producing the project "Big Difference in Ukrainian". How to Become a Star! gained popularity not only in Ukraine, but also in the Russian Federation. The most successful project was the "Hidden Camera". On the TV channel "Inter" Sivokho hosted the program "Torn out of the crowd".

With regard to the conflict in Ukraine, Sivokha chose a restrained position, but was against the politicization of show business. He believes that politics and art should not be confused.

For a while, the showman disappeared from sight, he developed serious health problems. One of the reasons was overweight, so Sergei decided to lose weight and lost 30 kg.

Personal life

Tatiana, a TV news host, became Sergei's wife. They met on television. In 2000, the couple had a child - a boy Savva.
