On the street and at school, the girl was the first ringleader. She willingly and actively participated in amateur performances. I always tried to lead and lead. The future star graduated with honors from the local music school in the piano class. In 1989, having received a certificate of maturity, she immediately went to Novosibirsk and entered the music school. There are great opportunities in a big city. The artistic director of the "Electroversion" group, with a trained eye, determined the huge potential of the aspiring singer. As a result of short negotiations, they decided to work together. Diana Project
The career of the new tandem began with the recording of the album "Evening with Diana". Audiences and critics alike greeted this success claim quite favorably. The performers move to the capital and, despite the difficulties of growth, in 1993 they release the next disc, "I want to love." Irina and Vyacheslav enthusiastically write lyrics and music. For the most part, they do it successfully. Such work does not bother them. Albums are recorded almost annually and are always in demand among connoisseurs of modern musical compositions. One of the songs, titled “Just Dance,” became the most popular in the country's discos for a long time.
Each of the members of the creative duet makes his own contribution to the development of the project. At a certain stage, the partners decided to radically change the image of the singer. Eminent image makers, stylists and musicians from Europe were involved in the work. From a certain moment, Diana began to appear on stage in a white wig and bright makeup. At first, the audience was somewhat taken aback by such a metamorphosis, but the ensuing reaction was stormy and approving. At the Soyuz studio, with which a long-term cooperation contract was signed, she immediately released a new album.
Quite unexpectedly for viewers and fans, in 1998 the famous and successful project "Diana" is curtailed. The cause of the disaster was the conflict and the break of the contract with the recording studio. As a result of this scandal, Irina lost all rights to use the Diana brand. It was necessary to carefully read the terms of the contract when signing. In boxing terms, it was a knockout blow. But not fatal. The singer and her faithful partner, having gathered their will into a fist, decided to start all over again. Moreover, they already had a solid experience with a set of tools.

Less than a year passed, and a new group "Reflex" appeared on the stage. The soloist was introduced to the audience as Irina Nelson.
