Valentina Vasilievna Ignatieva is a famous Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, theater teacher, director and singer. Behind her creative shoulders today there are many theatrical performances, more than a dozen films and twelve vocal parts.
A native of Kalinin (now Tver) and a native of a family far from the world of theater and cinema, she is a multiple winner of domestic and international pop song competitions, an associate professor at Moscow State University and a teacher at the Institute of Contemporary Art. Valentina Ignatieva became the wife of Viktor Koreshkov, who was the first husband of Natalia Gundareva, as well as the mother of the famous Russian actress Inga Ilyushina.

On January 15, 1949, the future popular artist was born. From early childhood, Valya showed excellent artistic abilities, and therefore, from the age of five, her mother sent her to a music school (violin class). Later, the girl joined the troupe of the local children's theater, where, as a rule, she performed the main roles.
After receiving a certificate of secondary education, Valentina Ignatieva failed her attempt to enter the legendary "Pike". And the next year she became a student at VTMEI, the country's leading pop university. In 1970, she became a soloist of the State Orchestra under the direction of Utesov with a diploma of "artist of vocal and spoken genres". Here she was engaged in professional activities for two years, and then performed as a soloist with VIA "Solnechnaya Korona", "Three times three", "Lada", "Merry guys" (replaced AB Pugacheva) and Mosconcert.
The beginning of the "seventies" for Valentina Ignatieva were very successful. She very quickly got on the Olympus of the national stage. However, when she was offered to become an actress of Yudenich's studio theater, she did not hesitate to choose the stage, even though she had to travel to Germany as a group of pop performers to support Soviet athletes at the Olympic Games.
In the period from 1972 to 1976, Ignatieva appeared here on the theatrical stage, and since 1977 her creative life began to focus specifically on domestic cinema. The debut in this role took place with a cameo role in the motion picture "Races without a finish". And the very next year, Valentina starred in the title role of Vlad Pavlovich's war film "Velvet Season". Success came almost immediately after the picture was released. The actress consolidated her reputation as a movie star in 1979, when the country was able to see her in the role of a wandering actress in Boris Nechaev's film "Imaginary Sick".
And then followed by secondary roles in the cinema, vocal parts in films and, most importantly, performances on the stage of the country. In 1989, Valentina Vasilievna graduated from GITIS, having received the qualification of a theater director. In the "nineties" and "zero" her professional portfolio was filled with theatrical projects, which were staged on the stage of the theaters "Modern", "At Nikitskiye Vorota" and "Comedy Kaus".
Personal life of the actress
The first husband of Valentina Ignatieva was actor Valery Dolzhenkov, whose marriage was very fleeting and collapsed due to the mutual jealousy of both spouses. And then there was a bright, but short romance with composer Mikael Tariverdiev and a civil marriage with musician Mikhail Faibushevich, in which his daughter Inga was born. The relationship with the latter ended due to the fact that Valentina went to Pavel Slobodkin (artistic director of the "Merry Boys" collective).
The third husband of the actress was the actor Viktor Koreshkov (ex-husband of Natalia Gundareva). In this marriage, a son, Ivan, was born (now a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church).
