The origins of the biography
Jean-Michel Jarre was born on August 24, 1948. He spent his childhood in a suburb of Lyon in France, his mother France Peugeot was involved in his upbringing, because when the boy was 5 years old, his parents divorced, and his father Maurice Jarre went to live in the United States. The child had the makings of music since birth: his father, a famous composer who composed music that was used in films, his grandfather, invented the first pickup for vinyl records.
At the age of five, the child is sent to a music school, where he learns to play the piano. Then, at the same time, he begins to master playing the accordion and counterpoint. The craving for music was so great that as a teenager, Jean-Michel Jarre, instead of attending comprehensive school, played the guitar in groups consisting of street musicians.
The beginning of a musical career
Continuing to intensively master the musical directions, Jean-Michel is a member of the "Musical Research Group", where he studies the non-European direction in music. She pays special attention to the study of solfejo (sounds of the surrounding nature). Having got on an internship at the studio "Karlheinz Stockhausen", he encountered the electronic direction of music and began to play synthesizers. This was the impetus for a beginner musician to discover the potential in himself for the realization of his own thoughts and ideas.
Vigorous work begins in a new direction. His melodic compositions begin to be used in feature films, television programs, commercials, and broadcast on radio. Jean-Michel Jarre is one of the few who began to write avant-garde futuristic compositions for operas and ballets. The unique author managed to create incredible music and light shows, which the world viewers received with delight. Not every pop performer manages to gather a million audience at his concerts. Jean-Michel Jarre was included in the famous Guinness Book of Records for mass gatherings of auditoriums four times.
