Biography
Owain Yeoman was born in Chelstow in 1978. His parents still live in their home in Wales. His father is a physicist by profession, and his mother is a housewife.
The boy was versatile: he was interested in both the humanities and the exact. He also played sports seriously: he was a member of the national hockey team for Wales.
From an early age, Owain showed interest in literature, read a lot. Parents dreamed that their capable son would become a doctor of sciences, would be engaged in research.
Therefore, after school, Owine entered Oxford. At the university, he became seriously interested in theater and participated in student productions, was a member of the Oxford acting community.
After completing his master's degree, he planned to become a scientist and applied for a grant to continue his studies to pursue his doctorate. However, the grant was not given to him for some unknown reason, and he got a job at the bank.
The Bank of London is an official place where there is no creativity, where imagination and fantasy are not needed. There are only numbers, calculations and graphs here. And Yeoman really lacked the creative component.
Then the future actor makes a knight's move - he enters the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. And only here he understands what he lacked in Oxford and at work in the bank: the opportunity to transform into different people.
Actor's career
After graduating from the academy, Yeoman began auditioning for various roles, passing auditions, and in 2004 he got the role of Lysander in the film Troy. The film was nominated for an Oscar, it was heard, and all the actors were in sight.
The almost two-meter-tall brunette was noticed by the director of the series “Generation of Assassins” (2008) and invited him to the role of a sergeant. Then there was the interesting role of the terminator in the series "Terminator: Battle for the Future" (2008). However, all this was preparation for more serious work.
The next stage in Yeoman's life - six whole years of filming in the psychological thriller "The Mentalist" (2008-2015). With intricate plot moves, personal connections and intense dynamics of development, this series has chained millions of viewers around the world to TV screens. The actors created such an environment in the series that it was impossible not to watch the next episode.
Then Yeoman got a role in a similar series called "Elementary" (2012) - he played there Julian Kent. This is also an outstanding series of its kind: a free arrangement of stories about Sherlock Holmes, and very interesting and exciting.

Personal life
Actors, as a rule, find a soul mate on the set. So it happened with Yeoman: in 2006, he married actress Lucy Davis. However, the couple divorced in 2011.
Owine then dated designer Gigi Yallows and they got married in 2013. They have a daughter, Ever Belle Yeoman, who was born in 2015. Yeoman's family lives in London.
Owain speaks English, Welsh and German.
