Biography
A. Barykin was born in February 1952. in the village of Berezovo (Tyumen region). Soon after the birth of the child, the family moved to the city of Lyubertsy (Moscow region). Alexander developed an interest in music in early childhood, he studied at a music school, which he graduated with honors.
As a teenager, Barykin organized his first group "Allegro". They often performed on dance floors, Barykin was a vocalist, he also performed songs that he composed himself. After the army, Alexander was able to enter the "Gnesinka" (for classical vocals). The second education from a musician is a director of mass celebrations, Barykin studied in absentia at the Institute of Culture in Krasnodar.
Career
In 1973. Barykin worked at VIA "Moskvichi", then six months later he moved to VIA "Merry Boys". He performed with them until 1976. Then Barykin sang in "Gems", later he again began to work with "Merry Boys". The collective had many tours of the USSR, they participated in a competition in Czechoslovakia.
Barykin collaborated with D. Tukhmanov, his song "Invitation to travel" glorified the performer. However, Alexander did not want to be a pop performer, the musician preferred rock and reggae at that time. In 1977. he created the group "Pearls", which soon disintegrated.

After her performance, the singer finally established himself as a pop artist.
Barykin wanted to restore the former glory of a rock musician, tried to recreate "Carnival". In 1989, the hard-rock album "Hey, Look!" Was released. At that time, the singer suffered from a thyroid disease. The problem appeared after concerts held in the Chernobyl zone. Barykin underwent a number of operations, almost completely lost his voice, and his career began to decline.

The singer has an illegitimate son Timur from pop singer Raisa Syed-Shah. In 2011, the singer met with L. Lenina, a writer.
A. Barykin died on March 26, 2011 in Orenburg during a tour. The cause of the death was a heart attack.
