Goalkeeper biography
Alexander Alexandrovich was born in the small village of Naryshkino, Oryol region. His family was far from sports, but it was his father who insisted that the boy go to football school. At the age of nine, Alexander decided that he would be a goalkeeper. He stood out noticeably against the background of his peers, tall.
The gifted player was noticed at the football school in the city of Oryol and was invited to study. At one of the competitions in their age group, Alexander was noticed by the scouts of the Spartak football school and took the young man to them. Everything was going well for Sasha until the leadership of the academy was changed. Then Selikhov was expelled for poor academic performance and sent back to Oryol.
But Alexander decided to try his luck again and tried to break into the youth team of Saturn and Kazan Rubin, but in the first case he did not undergo a medical examination, and in the second he was not satisfied with the living conditions himself. So he found himself in the school of St. Petersburg Zenith. But this moment coincided with his turbulent youth. Selikhov often disappeared in nightclubs than attended training sessions. For this he was expelled. Alexander was forced to return to Oryol.
In this club, Selikhov was rarely released to the games, but once he pulled out a penalty from Dmitry Parfenov himself, when he played in the Tula Arsenal. From that moment on, the whole life of the young footballer has changed. It was acquired by Perm "Amkar" and over time it firmly took the position of the main goalkeeper of the team.
It flourished in 2015-2016, when Amkar successfully played in the RFPL and took places in the top half of the Russian Championship table.
The best clubs in the country began to chase the goalkeeper, but Selikhov fulfilled his childhood dream and returned to Spartak. After a short stretch on the bench, Alexander took a place at the goal and helped the team become the champion of Russia, 16 years later.
Now Selikhov is the main goalkeeper of Spartak. He is also called up to the Russian national team, for which he has not yet played.
