It is impossible to imagine what many of our Soviet cartoons would be without this talented person. Suteeva V. G. can be considered a real wizard. The fairy tales written by him became the most beloved for children. And in cartoons, no one could bring characters to life like he did. They are kind, funny and fair, each story teaches us true friendship, loyalty and honesty.
Biography
On July 5, 1903, the future cartoonist was born in the family of a doctor, who gave magic to all children. It was Vladimir Grigorievich Suteev. His illustrations for the tales of other writers, cartoons that he created and the tales of his authorship will be famous and loved for many centuries.
Since childhood, Vladimir Suteev has shown his artistic talent. They, together with their brother, drew drawings from the fairy tales they had read and showed them to their father, impatiently awaiting his assessment. At the age of 14, Suteev worked as an artist for various competitions and exhibitions. His drawings were often published in children's magazines such as: "Murzilka", "Spark", etc.
After school, the future storyteller studied at the State College of Cinematography. As a student, he first worked in an experimental workshop at the technical school, where the first Soviet cartoons were created. Later, Vladimir Suteev worked at the Mezhrabpom-Rus film factory, where his first cartoon with the sound "Street across" was created. After some time, he moved to Mosfilm, and already in 1936 he began working at the Soyuzmultfilm studio.
Personal life
In the personal life of the artist and writer Vladimir Grigorievich, things were getting harder. When the Great Patriotic War began, Suteev was already married, but his wife left him as soon as he returned from the front. His second and last love was his colleague on "Soyuzmultfilm" Tatyana Taranovich. However, they could not immediately be together, because she was already married, raised a daughter and did not want to divorce her husband. The writer quit the film studio. Many years later, already widowed, the two lovers were able to be together. Suteev at that time was already 80 years old, and Tatyana Taranovich is 67 years old. Having lived in a happy marriage for 10 years, they died in one year.
Books for children
A talented illustrator and animation director, he gradually became a writer. In 1952, Suteev's first book, Two Tales About a Pencil and Paints, was published. Vladimir Grigorievich wrote many wonderful stories, he illustrated each one himself and almost all of them also turned into cartoons. Children of all generations love Suteev's tales. How can you not love them? There is so much good in them! Not a single New Year vacation will pass without the cartoon "Mailer Snowman". The fairy tales of this magician are filled with morality, which the child realizes himself, without guidance.
And even though a lot of modern cartoons have already been created, there will never be such as those created by Suteev. Nowadays, there are very few cartoons with meaning, they only have brightness and dynamics that attract children. And what these cartoons are, the authors do not even think about. Thanks to Vladimir Grigorievich Suteev for his talent, for his childhood, which he gave us.
