From biography
Vladimir Afanasyevich Arkhipov was born in 1939 in the Kirov region. In a peasant family, he was the second son. Father Afanasy Dmitrievich passed the military path from Moscow to Berlin, and his mother, Efrosinya Nikolaevna, worked in the village. For the first time, the poems of the young Vladimir appeared in the regional and regional newspapers, in Pionerskaya Pravda and in the Smena magazine.
He graduated from the Kirov Agricultural College and went to the virgin lands, where he worked as a correspondent. Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University and the Literary Institute. He worked for the BAM newspaper and walked many taiga kilometers. In 1979 he moved with his family to Krasnodar - to the homeland of his wife, where he still lives.
