The future actress was born in the spring of 1965 in Spain. Her father was an engineer, and her mother was a choreographer and teacher. The family brought up two more children: the son of Alfonso and the daughter of Maria Jesus.
Soon after the birth of their third child, the family was forced to leave their hometown and settle in San Juan de Alicante, where the climate was more suitable for the youngest daughter, who often had asthmatic attacks.
Creativity literally entered the girl's life from birth. She began to dance under the guidance of her mother. When Belén was already in school, she was offered to continue her studies at the French ballet school. After consulting with her family, the girl decided not to go to France, realizing that she was not ready for such global changes in her life.
Another hobby of the girl was drawing. She attended an art studio and was so passionate about art that she decided to pursue her education in architecture and painting.
After completing her primary education, Rueda went to Madrid to become a university student. A year later, the girl met a young man who came from Italy and fell in love with him.

She successfully taught choreography to children until she received a call from the modeling agency where she previously worked. Belen was offered a casting on Tele5. Rueda came to big cinema in 2004. She made her debut in the film "The Sea Within" by the famous director A. Amenabra. For this work, the actress was awarded the Goya Prize, and the picture itself received an Oscar in the Best Foreign Film category.
In 2010, Rueda starred in the thriller Insight, produced by Guillermo Del Toro.
