Nikolay Noskov is a singer and composer, Honored Artist of Russia, five-time winner of the prestigious Golden Gramophone award established by Russian Radio, a favorite of audiences of all ages and genders, and just a talented musician.
Biography
The future musician was born in 1956, in the most ordinary family of a worker and a collective farm woman, on January 12. In addition to Nicholas, there were four more children in the family, and each of them from an early age was accustomed to work, brought up in the spirit of high moral principles of "future builders of communism."
When Kolya was 8 years old, the Noskovs moved from small Gzhatsk (which is now called Gagarin) to the city of Cherepovets, a big city for them. Already in early childhood, the boy showed remarkable musical abilities, and at the age of 14 he became a prize-winner of a regional vocal competition.
In his youth, Nikolai learned to be an electrician, while not leaving his musical hobbies, he independently learned to play many instruments. After college, the freedom-loving poet got a job in a restaurant as a musician. He served in the naval aviation, and then moved to live in Moscow.
Musical career
At first, in the capital, Nikolai Noskov sang in front of an audience in restaurants, performing foreign hits, and then there was a short period in the "Rovesniki" collective, performing patriotic songs. But there he did not stay long. The musician did not like the constraining censorship, and he went on a personal "tour" in different bands: "Nadezhda", "Moscow", "Singing Hearts".
In 1987 he wrote several amazing compositions for the painting "The Island of Lost Ships", and was noticed by Stas Namin, who invited him to the Gorky Park team as the lead vocalist. And this was the beginning of the high-profile path of Noskov - a musician and poet. A tour of the USA, recorded together with world leaders in rock compositions, the release of the song Bang in the first lines of the charts of different countries. In a word, the name of Nikolai Noskov became famous.
At the beginning of the "dashing nineties" Noskov left the band, and in 1993 he took up solo projects. He became a fairly well-known figure in the musical environment, released his own albums, created and still maintains a fund for ethnic music.
Personal life
Noskov married in the early nineties his admirer from his native Cherepovets, the beautiful Marina. The girl's family at first was against a serious relationship with a rock star, it seemed to them that a representative of show business was not the best choice for a young woman. But their fears were in vain - Nikolai became an excellent husband and father, and then a wonderful, caring grandfather. In 1992, a daughter, Katya, was born, Marina and Nikolai, two grandchildren.

In the spring of 2017, facts about the musician's serious health problems were leaked to the press. He went through several operations, recovered for a long time, stopped giving concerts and appearing on television. In August 2018, another tragedy occurred for all fans of the poet's work - he suffered a stroke. The family refuses to advertise the details of the musician's condition.
