Philip Lahm is a famous German footballer who played as a defender. He spent his entire football career in one club - Bayern Munich. He played for the German national team, in which he became the world champion in 2014.
Biography
In November 1983, on the eleventh, in the large German city of Munich, the future star of German football, Philip Lahm, was born. Since childhood, the boy had a great love for football and one day, thanks to his father, Philip and his kindergarten friend ended up at the local football academy of Gern.
Lama Jr. had a talent for taming the ball, and he constantly improved it, making his game real creativity. A few years later, scouts of top German clubs began to observe the football prodigy. When Philip was eleven years old, he received an offer that could not be refused: Bayern Munich invited the boy to be screened at their academy. Lam Jr. easily coped with all the tests and was accepted into the youth "family" of the German grandee.
Career
In 2001, when Philip was 17 years old, he was sent to Bayern 2, the rotation team of the club's main squad. As part of the farm club, Lam spent two full seasons and played 62 matches, in three of them he even scored goals. In the team, he was announced as a midfielder, but during the first season he gradually moved to the position of a defender, where he spent his entire professional career.
Lam made his debut for the main squad in November 2002, as part of the group stage of the Champions League. The result of the match did not in any way affect the position of the team in the group and did not matter for Bayern. Philip came on as a substitute at the very end of the match, in the 90th minute and spent on the field only three minutes added by the referee. After debuting for the main team, Philippe returned to Bayern II and continued to play there.
Before gaining a foothold in the club as the main player, Lam played for a few more years at the farm club, was on loan at Stuttgart, and only in 2005 he “grew” to Bayern. He partially spent the first season out of the application due to a serious injury, and from the next he began to consistently appear on the field. In total, Philip, taking into account the farm club and the lease, entered the field 654 times and scored 21 times by scoring an opponent's goal.
The football player's personal life is intertwined with his career. He became the husband of childhood friend Claudia Schattenberg in 2010, and today the happy couple have two children. The wife is always desperately rooting for her beloved, appearing at almost all matches.
For a long 14 years in the German championship, Lam became the champion of the country eight times, raised the German Cup six times over his head, and won the Super Cup three times. And also in the 12/13 season he became the owner of the Champions League Cup, European Super Cup and won the club world championship.
National team
The famous footballer started playing in the colors of the national team on the eve of UEFA EURO 2004. Thanks to his outstanding performances in the domestic championship of the country, he became a regular member of the national team. Twice in a row he became the bronze medalist of the World Cup, and finally, in 2014 the German national team became the champion, devastatingly destroying the hosts of the championship Brazil (7-1) and defeating the Argentina national team in the final.
