Biography
Simon Cowell was born in 1959 in Brighton, England. His father worked in the music industry and his mother was a ballerina.

He changed many companies, but could not get along anywhere, then his father arranged for him in the recording studio "EMI Group", which then already occupied a huge part of the market in Britain.

In the early 1980s, Simon Cowell and Ellis Rich formed their own hit company, E&S Music. The next step was the formation of a dance group "Hot Gossip", and a little later - an independent record company "Fanfare Records". It was this label that allowed Simon to feel the taste of victory and to visit the pinnacle of success several times. Particularly successful was the work with the singer Sinitta - "Fanfare Records" has sold over half a million of her albums. Then there was a resounding success thanks to the recordings of the Rondo Veneziano orchestra.
As is the case in business, a boom can be followed by a fall. So it happened with Cowell: after several years of success, things went so bad that Fanfare Records went bankrupt, and he was forced to work as a consultant for another firm.
