Professional activity
In high school, Kharitonova joined the soloist of the pioneer song and dance ensemble, led by the famous composer Isaak Dunaevsky. After school, Alexandra told her parents that she wanted to become an artist and decided to get a specialized education at VGIK. Two years later, the war began and the students, along with their teachers, were evacuated to Alma-Ata. Here studies continued, films were shot and creative teams were created to perform at the front. Kharitonova, due to her low experience, was not taken to such a brigade, although she very much asked.
After returning to Moscow, Alexandra received her diploma and entered the service of the film actor's theater. Kharitonova's creative career took shape gradually. In 1947 she was invited to participate in the film "Young Guard". The film was a hit with audiences and critics. Then the film "Rural Doctor" was released. Alexandra played a small but memorable role as a nurse in it. The cult picture of the 50s "It was in Penkovo" fell in love with the Soviet audience. Kharitonova appeared in her in the form of a perky girl named Shurochka.
Recognition and privacy
Alexandra Grigorievna spent almost her entire life at the Mosfilm film studio. She did not refuse any work. If necessary, she starred in episodes. She was engaged in scoring and dubbing pictures.
The personal life of the actress has developed well. Back in her student years, she married Gurgen Tavrizyan, who later became the dean of the acting department. Husband and wife have lived under the same roof for over forty years. Raised and raised a daughter. Alexandra Kharitonova died in July 2009. She was buried with her husband at the Danilovskoye cemetery.
