The future actor was born in Chisinau on February 7, 1967. Mikhail graduated from high school in 1986 and chose the career of an actor, entering the Saratov State Conservatory. Solodko chose the theater faculty, where there was a department of drama theater and cinema actors. Studied in the workshop of V. Fedoseev.
After the third year, Solodko was drafted into the army. After giving the Motherland two years of his life, Mikhail recovered at the conservatory. He decided to study again on the Fedoseev course, for which he had to lose two courses.

Solodko completed his studies at the university in 1992. After receiving his diploma, Mikhail got a job as an actor in the troupe of the capital's theater studio "Atrium". Here he served until 1998. At the same time, Solodko worked as an actor in the Association of Non-State Theaters.
Back in the early 90s, Mikhail became interested in equestrian sports and managed to get a category in show jumping. He also went to study at the Akvatryuk stunt school, took a course in saber fencing. World fencing champion Peter Rensky became his mentor.
