Mikhail Yurievich Vashukov is a Russian comedian, coupletist, TV presenter and actor. In 2001 he was awarded the title "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation".
The performer in a duet with Nikolai Bandurin became especially famous. The artists have revived the forgotten genre of stage couplets.
Childhood and youth
The small homeland of Mikhail Yuryevich Vashukov is the village of Vsevolzhsky in the Leningrad Region. There, in 1959, on May 28, the future famous artist appeared.
The boy was not going to become a performer. Misha has been actively involved in sports since childhood. He was a member of the Leningrad volleyball team. The boy was the chairman of the Council of commanders of the Vasileostrovsky district of his sports school.
Vashukov played excellent football and basketball. After graduating from school, the young man entered a vocational school. This was followed by work as an installer of radio equipment at the "Volna" plant of NPO named after Komintern.
It was at work that the young man began to take an interest in amateur performances. For the first time Vashukov entered the factory stage.
The novice performer sang to the guitar of ditties, prepared short sketches for the instrument. Mikhail realized that he liked the happy faces of the audience very much, as he liked to perform in front of the audience.
Study and early career
A promising young man, who became a Komsomol organizer of the enterprise, was sent to a seminar for cultural workers. There he demonstrated his number, performing without a guitar.
The head of the pop department of the music school at the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in Leningrad, who was conducting the meeting, noticed a talented performer.
Mikhail was the youngest among all the participants. He received an offer to study at the department of the spoken stage, where they trained concert presenters, artists of the spoken genre and entertainers.
By the management of the plant, an energetic guy was sent to the Higher Trade Union School. Between classes, Mikhail went to the music school recommended to him to feel the atmosphere of creativity. Vashukov eventually went to the admissions office, where he got a schedule of entrance exams.
The selection of the talented nugget was easy. During his studies in 1982-1086, Mikhail became a course leader. There he met his future partner and friend Nikolai Bandurin. The friends began their joint performances while still studying.
In 1986, the graduates were assigned to the Philharmonic Society of Nizhny Novgorod, where they worked for three months. The dream of both was to perform at Lenconcert. But getting there was not easy.
Creative way
When the dream came true, the artistic council issued an ultimatum: either the number would be shown to them immediately, or they would have to wait a year. The artists made the decision in a few minutes. In the October Hall, both performed on the same evening.
From 1989 to 1991 the duet worked at Lenconcert. The texts for the duo's touring performances were written by Georgy Terekov, who collaborated with such luminaries of the spoken genre as Nechaev and Rudakov. In 1989, the duet of Vashukov and Bandurin became a laureate in the international competition of pop and speech genres in Kislovodsk.
At the same time, Yevgeny Petrosyan invited the charismatic guys to the show. Two years later, Vashukov and Bandurin took part in the filming of Gaidai's film "The weather is good on Deribasovskaya, or it is raining again on Brighton Beach." Mikhail got the role of a KGB agent, Colonel Korablev.
From the beginning of filming, Vashukov began to live and work in the capital at the Mosconcert. Since the beginning of the nineties, Mikhail has appeared on central television channels as part of a duet with Bandurin. They took part in such programs as "Full House, Full House!", "Smehopanorama", "Wider Circle".
In 1995, the artists' first audio album, titled "Vitamin HA!", Was published. By the end of the next year, a CD of the same name appeared. The comedian was invited to host the international festival "Slavianski Bazaar" in July 1998.
Successful solution
Together with Bandurin, Vashukov hosted the Lilac Mist TV show, took part in the filming of the New Year's light on the RTR TV channel. Vashukov often visited hot spots.
The duo visited Kaspiysk, Grozny, Sevastopol. For concerts there, the artist was awarded a gold watch by the Moscow government.
The duo was part of the group of Joseph Kobzon, called the "risk group". She flew out on tour on the first call. Often, it was only on the plane that the performers learned the destination from Kobzon.
They had a chance to perform in all hot spots of the country. The duo visited Chechnya several times. Vashukov later compared the appearance of the military man in Grozny to Stalingrad after the bombing. In 2001, the performer received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
Since February 2005 Bandurin and Vashukov have become the hosts of the program "Laughing Is Permitted" on the RTR TV channel. From the next year, the duo ceased to exist. the comedian began solo performances. At the same time, each ex-participant has his own version of discord in the team.
Solo performances
According to Mikhail's story, their friendship was strong. From the beginning of work on the stage, they did not quarrel. The discord was brought in by the wife of Nikolai Marina, the director of the duet. The idea of the breakup belongs to her. She also stunned the comedian with the words that now he will work alone, as Marina and Nikolai want it.
The comedian is offended that the decision was made behind his back. They did not tell him anything, did not consult. Marina led not only the duet, but also her husband in an authoritarian style. Vashukov was also upset that his friend unquestioningly took the side of his wife.
Mikhail continues to perform, gives concerts, goes on tour throughout the country and travels to neighboring countries. Vashukov is reluctant to talk about his personal life.
He was married. It is known that the wife is Ukrainian, a teacher by profession. Two children were born in their family. The artist divorced in 2010.
However, recently, pictures of Vashukov with a woman appeared on social networks. The status of a humorist has changed to "married". The popular artist, as everything shows, did not stay alone for long and found a new love.
