Josh Holloway was born in 1969 in the California city of San Jose and was raised in a simple American family with three brothers. He was a very active and athletic child, and he learned to work early, helping his family, who were constantly experiencing a lack of livelihood. After school, Josh became a student at the University of Georgia, but he only had the patience for a year.
A modeling agency drew attention to an attractive young man, where he was offered a contract. So his career as a model began, and Josh even managed to work for Calvin Klein himself. However, his youth gradually left, and as a result, Holloway was far from the first echelon of the modeling business. He began his acting studies in Los Angeles, but he was hardly invited to shoot.
