A believer who comes to the temple of God for the first time will need to learn some church rules. One of them is the correct spelling and submission of the "On health" note.
Instructions
Step 1
When you arrive at a church or temple, ask the clerk for a Health Form. If there is no such form, then on a regular sheet of paper draw an eight-pointed Orthodox cross at the top, below write the title "On health." You can write in one note up to 10 names of relatives and friends. If you would like to include more people in your note, write their names on two forms. One name is written on each line.
Step 2
The order of writing names in the note should be as follows. If you are going to mention a clergyman, then first write down his name indicating the rank, the first should go the servants of the highest rank, monks. Only after that do the names of ordinary Orthodox laity - your relatives, people you know - fit in. Also, adult men are mentioned first, followed by women, after youths, maidens, adolescents and babies (first male, then female). All the people mentioned must be baptized.
Step 3
Enter the full names of the people you indicate in the note in the genitive case ("Irina", "Nikolai" and so on). Include the following conventions in front of names in your note:
- for children up to seven years old - the word "baby" or abbreviated "junior";
- for children from seven to 14 years old - the word "boy" or "neg.";
- to sick people - the word "sick";
- for those who are on the way at a given time - the word "traveling";
- to those who are in the field of hostilities or in the army - the word "warrior".
Step 4
Give the ready-made note to the church officials, pay for it, if such are the requirements in the temple. Buy some church candles. By lighting them near the icons of saints, you pray for the health of the people mentioned in the note.
