Of course, it is better when buying a product, especially an expensive one, to be far-sighted and attentive. But if you are already in a situation where you need to exchange goods, you have every right to do so. According to the law, a consumer can exchange a product (non-food) for a similar one within 14 days if the purchased product does not fit in size, shape, style, color, size, or for any other reason, for which the product cannot be used for its intended purpose. Remember that the exchange is subject to a product that has not been used, has retained its presentation, consumer properties, labels, seals. There are several simple rules for exchanging such a product.
Instructions
Step 1
Show a receipt or other document that can serve as confirmation of the purchase of this product in this particular store. Show the seller the product and explain that the product was not used for its intended purpose, its presentation has not changed, and the label has been preserved on it.
Step 2
Explain to the seller the reason why the product did not fit and tell the seller that you want to exchange the product for a similar one, or receive another product with a surcharge for the difference in price.
If the desired product is currently not on sale, the seller is obliged to notify the buyer at the first entry of such product on sale.
Step 3
You can also get money for the returned product in full if the store does not find a suitable replacement, or you simply decide to return the money.
The seller is given 7 days to satisfy the buyer's request. For violation of this period, the seller must pay the buyer a penalty in the amount of 1% of the price of the goods, which
was in effect on the day of implementation. The buyer cannot exchange the goods in the event that the seller is an individual who carries out a one-time sale on the market or sale within the framework of craft activities. Also, food products of good quality cannot be exchanged. Consider all these rules when buying goods.
