If you have purchased a mobile phone, but for some reason you do not like it, you can raise the question about the exchange in the store. It will not be very easy to achieve your goal, since sellers are very reluctant to change the purchased item or return the money.
Instructions
Step 1
If you find a malfunction in the phone or a technical defect, go ahead and ask to exchange it for a better one. Show proof of purchase and warranty card. You must meet halfway and either correct the defect at the expense of the store, or return the money spent, or exchange the phone for a working model.
Step 2
If the device is in good working order, and you are not satisfied with its color, model or functions, you can also contact the store and request an exchange. The phone, contrary to the assurances of the sellers, belongs to a group of goods, about which the law says that the buyer can, within two weeks from the date of the transaction, exchange goods that are unsuitable in style, color, size or configuration for a similar one with the required characteristics. If the store does not find the equipment you need, you must return the money. In practice, sellers will try to find a phone that suits you perfectly. As a last resort, you can choose a more expensive model by paying the difference in price.
Step 3
If you are refused an exchange, contact the city's consumer protection department. In the event that your rights were really violated, a fine will be imposed on the seller, and your money will be returned to you. However, your application will be satisfied only if you did not use the phone, its packaging and presentation are completely intact, and you have evidence that you bought the goods of this particular seller.
Step 4
Do not buy cellular equipment hand-held or at dubious retail outlets. In this case, you will have no chance at all to exchange a low-quality or unsuitable device. When buying, make sure that all documents are executed correctly, in no case throw away the check.
