It is quite possible that this lag will be closed in a few years. A real reason for such a prediction already exists. Today Tatyana Viktorovna Shevtsova holds the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of the country.
Starting conditions
Despite significant progress in the struggle for social equality between men and women, certain restrictions on the professional activities of the fairer sex remain in force. As surprising as it may sound, women are called up to serve in the army in different countries. The Russian Federation is no exception to this list. Tatyana Viktorovna Shevtsova was born on July 22, 1969 in the family of a serviceman. At that time, the parents lived in a small town in the Kaluga region. The child grew up and was brought up in a healthy environment. The girl was not pampered, but taught to work and accuracy. Tatiana studied well at school. She was engaged in physical education and amateur performances. I always found contact with classmates. Having received a certificate of maturity, she decided to continue her education at the Financial and Economic Institute of the city of Leningrad.
At the initial stage, Shevtsova's biography developed "like everyone else." After graduation, she was assigned to one of the district inspectorates of the tax service of St. Petersburg. For a decade and a half, a certified tax inspector has worked with taxpayers of various categories. She knows firsthand how private sector enterprises and state-owned companies live. In 2004, Tatyana Viktorovna was transferred to the capital to the post of Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation.
At the Ministry of Defense
Throughout the entire period of service in the Federal Tax Service, Shevtsova took part in the development of optimal mechanisms for ensuring tax collections to the budget. Work experience allowed her to defend her Ph. D. thesis in 2006. In 2010, the notorious Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov invited Tatyana Viktorovna to the staff of his ministry. When the abuse of official position, which was committed by military officials, became public, there were no complaints against Shevtsova.
The career of a high-ranking official proceeded without scandals and questionable reviews. The newly appointed Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, after a thorough check, left Shevtsova in her previous position. It is important to note that Tatyana Shevtsova's area of responsibility largely determines the combat effectiveness of units and formations of the Russian army. To ensure stable funding for priority areas, a large number of rules and regulations must be strictly followed.
With maximum workload at the workplace, Tatyana Shevtsova's personal life is in perfect order. She is married to a former military man. Husband and wife have known each other since their student days. Love and mutual respect reign in the house. The couple are raising two sons.
