Childhood and youth
Zhuravleva Marina Anatolyevna was born on July 8, 1963. Khabarovsk became her hometown, in which she spent almost all her childhood. Her father was a military man by profession, and her mother devoted her free time to household chores and raising her daughter. Little Marina developed an interest in music in her early childhood. When she was 13 years old, the family moved to live in Voronezh. There she received an elementary musical education, took part in competitions of local and regional significance, became a soloist of the city ensemble.
At the age of 16, the girl received an invitation to become a soloist of the Silver Strings group. She was offered the position of soloist. As part of a vocal and instrumental ensemble, she went on her first tour, which lasted about 4 months.
At the age of 17, Marina entered the Voronezh College of Music in the pop department. But Marina did not graduate from this institution, because she got married and gave birth to a child. After a while, she transferred to Moscow for further studies. According to the singer herself, it was in the Moscow Gnessin School that she was going to enter initially, but because of the competition she was late for the entrance exams.

In 1983 Marina ends her collaboration with VIA "Silver Strings". And in 1986, having successfully graduated from the Moscow Gnessin School of Music, he began work in the Sovremennik jazz orchestra, led by Anatoly Kroll. But after a while Marina left her job in this team. In the late 90s, she was offered to work in the United States. Since that moment, the singer's popularity in Russia has faded a little, but the singer herself got the opportunity to live and work in foreign countries: Germany, Canada, Israel. Marina Zhuravleva got married 3 times. The first marriage happened in his youth. Then a classmate became her chosen one. In 1982, a daughter was born in the family, whom the parents decided to call Julia. The marriage quickly fell apart, but in Moscow in 1987, Marina met her second husband, Sergei Sarychev. The marriage and creative tandem proved to be very successful. The couple toured a lot and once a family decision was made - to stay in the United States. The marriage broke up in 2000.
The third husband of Marina Anatolyevna was an emigrant from Armenia living in the United States. But with this husband, the singer filed for a divorce, having lived in marriage for more than 10 years. Daughter Julia resides in the United States, working as an ultrasound doctor.
