Biography
Olga Gorbunova was born in 1984 in Omsk. Her father was a famous artist in this city. It is natural that Olga fell in love with fine arts from early childhood. She sat next to dad right on the floor and drew.
As the girl recalls, she still remembers the smell of turpentine and the aroma of oil paints from childhood.
After graduating from a general education and art school, the girl entered the State Pedagogical University of Omsk at the Faculty of Arts. In 2006 Olga finished her studies and then began working as a designer in the studio. The young artist still works there. Since 2013, her work can be seen at various exhibitions - from city to international.
The young designer also had personal exhibitions, one of which was called "Kaleidoscope of Thoughts" and was held in 2014. And in 2015, Olga Gorbunova was admitted to the Russian Union of Artists.
Personal life
As the artist herself says, the main thing for her is family. The young woman has a husband, whose name is Sergei Lisitsyn. He is a teacher, artist, always supports his wife. The couple is raising a daughter. Olga speaks with love of her mother, with whom they understand each other perfectly.
The girl has two older sisters - Ekaterina and Victoria.
Creation
The young artist says that she creates her paintings most often in the evening or at night. When the hustle and bustle of the day subsides, the family is asleep, her creative upsurge begins. Then Olga puts on headphones, listens to her favorite music and starts drawing.
Each picture for a young Omsk designer is a reflection on some topic, question or on a life situation.
Gorbunova draws many ideas for her inspiration from travel. She says that she loves such trips very much.
The artist was most impressed by India. This was her first trip to a distant land, which combined bright contrasts of sweet fruits and hot spices, from the hot sun and the refreshing ocean, from simplicity and bright fabrics.
As a creative person, Olga loves to read. Developing his soul, learning new things, the artist Gorbunova is inspired by new ideas, then transfers them to his canvases.
She says that it is very important that the audience understands what is the meaning of this or that work, so that they would like to think when looking at the canvas. If people in her works find expression of their thoughts, then the picture was a success and fulfilled its task.
