Plot

The popular television series, which includes six seasons, tells the story of a non-existent FES service, in which the work of a large number of versatile experts is organized. This service investigates the most complex, intricate and high-profile crimes. Cases are conducted by highly qualified specialists from various fields, who, as a rule, have several professions: detectives, forensic medical experts, forensic scientists, programmers, traceologists, ballistics and pathologists. Well-coordinated teamwork is carried out under the guidance of an intelligent and beautiful "iron lady".

The television series also includes the film projects "Gardener", "Trace-52" and "Bite of a Keffiyeh". The main characters are fighting criminals, simultaneously solving their personal problems and saving their organization from liquidation.

main characters

The head of the FES, Colonel Galina Rogozina, is the main character of the konepopee; only the efficiency of work in the organization, the atmosphere in the team, but sometimes the very existence of the FES depend on her. Her right-hand man, her assistant and possibly her beloved Major Kruglov, often performs detective work, interrogating suspects. The most active members of the FES - operatives Maisky, Kotov, Lisitsin, Sokolova, carry out most of the operational-search activities, interviewing witnesses.

An amazing fact was recorded in several regions of the Russian Federation: the law enforcement agencies began to receive complaints from citizens against fraudsters posing as employees of the fictitious organization FES.

Ballistics-traceologists Igor Shustov and Tatiana Belaya, programmer-biologist Ivan Tikhonov work tirelessly in the office, and Valentina Antonova, a top-class professional pathologist, works in the morgue. It is on their work that the main events of the series are built, they are involved in most of the scenes. These characters are shown not only as effective experts and investigators, but also as highly spiritual, principled, incorruptible people for whom the chosen profession is not just a job, but a duty to society and oneself.

Based on true events

The creators of the series claim that all FES cases are fictional, but coincidences with real crimes are not excluded. Nevertheless, the created four-part spin-off "Gardener" is based on a real high-profile case about a serial maniac who hunted in the area of Moscow's Bitsevsky Park, which has 49 murders. In particular, the film clearly reveals the motives of the murder, which were found out by real law enforcement officers, and some details of the crimes. For example, a serial maniac wielded a hammer and put apple branches into the wounds of his victims, in reality Pechushkin put not only branches and shards of bottles, but also other garbage.

Criticism

From the moment the series began broadcasting, criticism of FES as such and criticism of the work of each serial hero began. Most often they talk about the inconsistency of reality in the conjugation of professions. In the film, the heroes can be both operatives and ballistics at the same time, conduct interrogation, and then go to the place and work as forensic specialists. In reality, these works are performed by different people from different, independent structures.
