Blade: The Series is an American television series based on the Blade trilogy of the same name, starring popular actor Wesley Snipes as the vampire hunter. According to the script, his hero Blade is a half-blood vampire who destroys his fanged brethren, saving the city from ruthless killers. The series differs from the prototype in terms of the actor's warehouse, but this does not make it less interesting.

The main character in the TV series "Blade" is played by rapper Kirk Jones of Sticky Fingaz. His co-stars were Jill Wagner, who played Christa Starr, and Nelson Lee, who became Blade's Asian assistant. The main vampire villain Marcus van Skyver was brilliantly performed by Neil Jackson, and his assistant Chase was played by the talented actress Jessica Gower.
In Russia, the series went almost unnoticed, since it was broadcast at five o'clock in the morning on the NTV channel.
According to the plot, the action of the series takes place after the events that took place in the film "Blade: Trinity", where the main character was activated "Daystar" - a biological weapon that destroyed all vampires. However, judging by the series, some vampires nevertheless survived and organized a new villainous association, eager to take control of the world.
The plot of the series and several of its seasons
The first episode of "Blade" begins with Blade pursuing a vampire officer in a Russian warehouse. From the captured bloodsucker, the hunter learns about the main organization of vampires, which is located in Detroit. After destroying the prisoner, Blade goes there at the same time as Christa Starr, who served in Iraq and decided to return to her hometown. Upon returning, Christa learns that her twin brother, Zach, suddenly died under mysterious circumstances. Starting her own investigation, the girl finds out that her brother was a "novice" among the vampires.
An acolyte is a human slave who obeys the orders of the vampires for immortality, which they give as a reward for faithful service.
In her quest for the truth, Christa meets Blade and Zach's killer, Marcus van Skyver, who is a powerful vampire and a high-ranking member of House C'ton, one of the great Vampire Houses. Marcus falls in love with Christa and he turns her into a vampire, but Blade gives the girl a serum for bloodlust and offers to avenge her brother, at the same time destroying the House of Marcus.
Christa begins to lead a double life, while simultaneously fighting against the instincts of the vampire. Marcus is trying to develop a vaccine that will make vampires insensitive to the sun, garlic, and silver. However, later it turns out that the cunning bloodsucker was looking for a virus that could destroy all purebred vampires, clearing the way for people turned into ghouls to power. In the end, Blade helps Marcus kill the original rulers of the House, however, it becomes known to Marcus that Christa is a double agent …
