Ekaterina Sergeevna Kopanova is a Russian actress, known for her leading roles in the film "Waiting for a Miracle" and the television series "Cream" and "Toys". Winner of the Alexander Abdulov Prize.
Biography
Ekaterina Kopanova was born on May 26, 1985 in Donetsk, in a creative family. Katya's parents are ballet dancers by profession. Mom is from Donetsk, and father is from Sevastopol. Katya's father worked in the Donbass dance ensemble. But soon after her birth, the family moved to Sevastopol. In this city, my parents served in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Black Sea Fleet. The creative environment around Katya to a certain extent influenced the girl's choice to become an actress.
Katya spent all her childhood and youth in Sevastopol. She studied at the Sevastopol school number 14, in a specialized class with a theatrical bias, which was taught by teachers from the Academic Russian Drama Theater. Lunacharsky.
After leaving school, the girl worked as a waitress in order to save up some money to move to Moscow.
Ekaterina Kopanova initially wanted to enter the Russian Institute of Theater Arts - GITIS, since in those years Yuri Luzhkov was the mayor of Moscow, thanks to whose decree Sevastopol residents could study at this university for free. But Katya did not enter GITIS.
In 2001, the girl moved to study and live in Moscow. And in 2002 she entered the free department at the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute, on a course to Vladimir Poklazov. In 2006 she graduated from VTU im. Shchukin.
Career and creativity
At the beginning of her career, Catherine got only small roles.
In 2005, the actress appeared on the screen in the role of Olga's maid in the TV series "Talisman of Love". Then she played a small role in the TV series "Out of Flame and Light" (2006) and "Service 21, or you need to think positively" (2006).
At the end of the fourth year, Kopanova made her debut in the role of Oksana in Alexander Nazarov's television series Love as Love, broadcast on Channel One in 2006 and 2007. After that, the aspiring actress took part in the work on several more tapes, but they did not bring her much fame.
Catherine's first serious and successful work was the main role in Evgeny Bedarev's romantic comedy Waiting for a Miracle.

Ekaterina Kopanova is married and has three children: daughters Liza and Zlata and son Fedor.
With her husband Pavel Palkin, the actress met in 2008 on the set of the series "Mines in the Fairway". Pavel, along with other sailors, was invited to the set as an extra artist. A few months later, the young people signed and got married.
The husband of the actress served at the "Kerch" shipbuilding complex, and then served in the same ensemble where her father worked. Now he works as a lawyer.
Ekaterina lives in Moscow with her husband and children. Due to the workload in filming, the actress rarely comes to her hometown.
